After sitting down for a conversation at the Todd Snyder New York City flagship just last week, Bon Iver's collaboration with the menswear brand has transpired at last."Having you here is particularly important because you asked me to do a collaboration," Snyder said to Bon Iver's Justin Vernon to kick off last week's conversation. "At first, I was kinda like, 'Well what do we do?' thinking it's just going to be a T-shirt or hoodie or what have you, but we came up with this cool, simple merch that's just this color."The duo dipped a knit beanie and hoodie in the album's official colorway – a pinky-orange shade called "Salmon.""For some reason, the color salmon is just my favorite color," Vernon said to Snyder.The Todd Snyder x Bon Iver sweater hoodie – which runs for $398 USD – is a salmon-shaded iteration of Snyder's Nomad Hoodie, imbued simply with the album cover in the middle of the silhouette. As for the Todd Snyder x Bon Iver Luxe Ribbed Beanie, the hat retails for $198 USD and is crafted from Nomad yarn in a half-cardigan stitch, complete with a four-point finish for a refined texture."This project came together in such a natural way," said Snyder – a self-proclaimed long-time fan of Vernon's music – in a release.
