There are no two ways about it: The Chosen: Last Supper is a successful theatrical experiment, and one that should ideally inspire other networks and studios to be more open to new release strategies. The fifth season of the biblical television series The Chosen, titled Last Supper was released in three installments across three weeks, all building towards Easter. While the three "films" underwhelmed towards the end, their performances leading up to Easter weekend were nothing short of excellent. Combined, the Last Supper "movies" have emerged as the franchise's top-grossing chapter. The franchise itself has attained new heights.
