TechSport Racing has confirmed its entry into McLaren Trophy America, with the veteran SRO America squad fielding a McLaren Artura Trophy EVO for Colin Harrison.

Harrison, who drove for the team’s now-defunct Nissan Z NISMO GT4 program in Pirelli GT4 America, mace his SRO America debut in a TCA class Honda and later served as a development driver for the Nissan.

The 24-year-old American recently tested the Artura Trophy EVO and was left with positive impressions.

“The first time I was able to drive the car was in Las Vegas last October,” Harrison said. “I immediately fell in love.

“It is one of the most powerful and exciting cars I’ve ever driven and I can’t wait to demonstrate what I can do with it on track.”

Team owner Kevin Anderson added: “We are incredibly excited to enter the McLaren Trophy series with Colin. He has worked diligently to hone his skills and he has been really fast in testing.”

TechSport previously confirmed its return to Toyota GR Cup North America competition with multiple entries.

The new-for-2025 McLaren single-make series kicks off at Sonoma Raceway in late March.
