Teaser Trailer: Max’s “Peacemaker” Season 2

Max has premiered the official teaser trailer for the second season of the John Cena-led action-comedy series “Peacemaker” which is produced by DC Studios.

The clip offers a first look at Sean Gunn as Maxwell Lord along with “Superman” co-stars Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl.

The new season will see Cena’s Christopher Smith having to deal with Frank Grillo’s Rick Flag Sr. who is now running ARGUS and who is well aware Peacemaker killed his son Rick Flag Jr. (Joel Kinnaman).

Peacemaker also struggles to reconcile his past with his newfound sense of purpose while continuing to kick righteous evil-doer butt in his misguided quest for peace at any cost.

Also starring are the likes of Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Freddie Strom as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, Steve Agee as John Economos, Robert Patrick as August ‘Auggie’ Smith/White Dragon, Sol Rodríguez as Sasha Bordeaux, Tim Meadows as Langston Fleury, and Nhut Le as Judomaster.

David Denman, Anissa Matlock, Taylor St. Clair, Dorian Kingi, and Brandon Stanley also appear in presently undisclosed roles. What’s not clear is how the series will answer its continuity issue of being previously in the now scrapped DCEU, though that reportedly will be addressed.

The second season of “Peacemaker” arrives on August 21st.
