A four-disc deluxe edition of The History of Metal and Horror is now available for $49.99 directly from the filmmakers.
The set includes the feature-length documentary on Blu-ray, two bonus Blu-rays with over 20 hours of additional interview footage, a CD featuring the soundtrack by Knights of the Black, and an eight-page booklet, all packaged in an individually signed and numbered magnetic box.
The film also includes an audio commentary by writer-director-editor Mike Schiff and producer Robert L. Lucas along with a behind-the-scenes image gallery.
Hosted by Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes), the doc explores the origins of heavy metal music, its deep-rooted connections to horror cinema, and its lasting cultural significance with over 60 interviews with icons from both worlds.
