After a tremendous return to form last year, when the combined total of its movies passed the $5 billion mark worldwide, Disney has had a difficult start to 2025. Captain America: Brave New World under-performed at the box office, grossing just over $400 million worldwide and falling short of its two predecessors. And not too long afterward, the mega-budget Snow Whiteremake fared even worse. The movie is yet to hit the $100 million mark domestically and the $200 million mark worldwide, having pretty much reached the end of its rope.
