United Autosports has signed Gregoire Saucy and Manuel Maldonado to complete its LMP2 lineup in the European Le Mans Series.
The two drivers will team up with Ben Hanley at the wheel of the No. 22 Oreca 07 Gibson and are the final two names to have been named for the Anglo-American squad’s three-car European program.
Both Saucy and Maldonado have previous history with United, with the former currently also forming part of its McLaren LMGT3 effort in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
The Swiss racer made his LMP2 debut with Richard Mille by TDS last year, taking two Pro-Am class victories alongside Rodrigo Sales and Mathias Beche.
Maldonado, meanwhile, returns to United after several years away. The Venezuelan competed with the team in 2021, teaming up with Nico Jamin and Jonathan Aberdein.
Since then, he has raced LMP2 machinery for Panis Racing and competed in GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS with Garage 59.
“Ben, Gregoire and Manuel will be a fantastic force on track as we go hunting for the ELMS championship title,” said Richard Dean, United Autosports CEO.
“It’s going to be an exciting season with three ELMS entries in three categories for the first time in United Autosports’ history, and the goal is to come home with the clean sweep of titles.”
In addition to its top-class LMP2 entry, United will continue to field a Pro-Am car for Daniel Schneider, Oliver Jarvis and Marino Sato as well as a McLaren LMGT3 entry for the recently confirmed trio of Michael Birch, Garnet Patterson and Wayne Boyd.
The ELMS season kicks off with the 4 Hours of Barcelona on April 6.
