Up and down form this season but bounced back with a huge win here in December to beat Beau Balko by 11 lengths. Since being upped as much as 8lb he’s placed in big fields including here in the Grade 3 Greatwood Gold Cup Handicap Chase. Siog Geal Encouraging placed effort over hurdles last time out to Bluey and a closer fourth place behind Jubilee Alpha at Windsor suggests there could be more to come upped in trip. She’s still well weighted on that form and if progressing/improving over this new trip could be tough to beat, dangerously unexposed. Cadell Down to a very handy mark over fences now, just 7lb higher than when winning by 15 lengths ahead of Farnoge. He was put up to 135 Overall Rating when facing some higher-rated horses on soft ground. He then pulled up last time which can be more than forgiven as it was a mammoth 4m contest. Now dropped another 5lb he can go well back on good ground and on his only 3rd race since winning well. Wyenot The highest-rated mare of the field and should be one for the future at just six-years-old given her best form. She has won five times over nine hurdle contests so far including a nine length victory over Ottizzini at Doncaster in December. In January, she went well over the same course and distance behind Jetara and Kateira, encouraging enough now facing this field. Sacre Coeur likes to take things up strongly and may set a tough pace though may need a lot more to beat Wyenot.
