If you loved RoboCop: Rogue City (and really, who didn’t?), Nacon and developer Teyon are coming back for seconds, announcing RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business, a standalone expansion to the original game that will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam this summer.
Set after the events of RoboCop: Rogue City, crime is still a problem in Old Detroit. A spark of hope arrives in the form of OCP’s latest project: OmniTower – a massive housing complex designed especially to provide for the needs of the residents of the city. However, a group of mercenaries armed to the teeth soon take control of the building, requiring RoboCop to pull a Judge Dredd and ascend the tower to clean things up.
This time around, RoboCop faces a high-tech opposition, from flying drones to exploding bots and anti-personnel turrets, every floor is riddled with traps, and heavily armed elite troops. Robo will even have to contend with special forces equipped with jet packs and katana-wielding foes who look more machine than man.
Luckily, RoboCop has some new toys to dispense justice. Along with his iconic Auto-9, you now have access to the all-new Cryo Cannon. RoboCop is also not playing around this time, as he’ll be able to deliver devastating finishing moves to crooks, whether it’s smashing an opponent’s skull against a concrete wall or into the nearest vending machine.
If that’s not enough, you’ll be able to play as Alex Murphy in a set of unique missions with familiar faces, revealing more of the storyline of Unfinished Business. And yes, Peter Weller is back as the voice of RoboCop.
