A PS Plus Essential monthly game has been delisted from the PS Store without a warning, and could soon become unplayable. Saber Interactive has pulled Evil Dead: The Game from multiple storefronts, but it’s still available on the Xbox store at the time of this writing.

Evil Dead: The Game was added to PS Plus in February 2023

Reports of Evil Dead being delisted on PS Store first cropped up yesterday, following which Epic Games Store users reported its disappearance. Saber Interactive hasn’t commented on the matter, leading some to believe that its delisting may be temporary, likely down to licensing issues.

However, Evil Dead — which is a multiplayer game — didn’t quite garner a solid player base even after landing on PS Plus in February 2023. More often than not, cases of licensed IP being pulled from multiple storefronts end up with the games being delisted entirely, followed by server closures.

Those who claimed Evil Dead as a PS Plus freebie should be able to download and access the game for the foreseeable future. If you’re planning to mop up those trophies or want to give Evil Dead a shot, now is the time to do so.

Evil Dead is available on both the PS5 and PS4.
