This includes the ability to cloud stream games on PS5. The platform’s cloud streaming library continues to grow every month, with last February seeing a staggering amount of games available to stream with the service.
Sony added 371 titles to PlayStation’s cloud streaming library
According to Cloud Dosage, it runs a script every week that searches for new cloud games. Its data showed that Sony added 371 titles to PlayStation’s cloud streaming library. This means there is now over 1800 titles available to purchase that can take advantage of the technology.
It is important to note that this large number of items playable through PlayStation’s cloud streaming feature may include demos or trials for PS5 and PS4 games. Regardless, there is still a massive amount of games available to stream with the service.
For this current smattering of cloud streaming additions, it features some tremendously popular games for PS5, some of which released within the last year. This includes Helldivers 2, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, and Silent Hill 2. It should be noted that these games are only playable on PS5 consoles. Also, as mentioned above, cloud streaming games is only a benefit for PS Plus Premium subscribers. This means Essential and Extra members do not have access to this feature, and will have to upgrade their membership if they wish to use it.
As mentioned above, PS Plus Premium memberships start at $17.99 a month. Players interested in more than just a month can get a bit of a discount if they decide they want the membership for a longer period of time. A three month subscription costs $49.99, while a 12 month subscription costs $159.99.
