Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii: When Do Pre-Order & Digital Deluxe Set Packs Unlock?

It can be confusing as to when the Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii DLC packs unlock in the game. There are a lot of add-ons and extra downloadable content for Pirate Yakuza. This includes the two pre-order bonuses, the Ichiban Pirate Crew Set and Ichiban Special Outfit Set, plus the Digital Deluxe Edition that comes with the Legendary Pirate Crew Pack, Legendary Outfit Pack, Ship Customization Pack, and Extra Karaoke & CD Pack. When do the DLC add-ons activate in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii?

Here’s when all of the pre-order add-ons and Deluxe Edition bonuses show up in Pirate Yakuza, sorted in chronological order:

• Extra Karaoke & CD Pack – Chapter 1
• Legendary Outfit Pack & Ichiban Special Outfit Set – Chapter 2 (mid)
• Legendary Pirate Crew Pack, Ichiban Pirate Crew Set, Ship Customization Pack – Chapter 2 (late)

The Extra Karaoke & CD Pack unlocks within the first chapter of the game when Goro Majima gains access to the playlist function. If you’re making a beeline through the main story, it should take a few hours before you have the ability to play music while traveling through the game.

Meanwhile, the Legendary Outfit Pack and Ichiban Special Outfit Set will unlock once Majima gains access to a hideout or safe room in Honolulu, which takes place about halfway through the second chapter. In the main story, he will visit a particular bar in the city that will eventually become a home base, and it comes with a changing room where Majima can change outfits. These costume DLC packs will allow him to dress up as Kazuma Kiryu and Ichiban Kasuga, along with other characters.
