Paul McCartney confirms another surprise, intimate New York gig tonight

Paul McCartney has confirmed rumours of another surprise, intimate show in New York tonight (February 12).

The solo star and Beatles icon took to the stage at the 575-capacity Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan last night (February 11), after announcing the tiny gig shortly beforehand on social media.

Tickets for the set – dubbed ‘Paul McCartney Rocks The Bowery’ – were available on a first-come, first-served basis, and limited to one per person. No phones or audio or video recording was allowed. The rare event sold out almost instantly.

McCartney treated fans who had managed to bag a ticket to a 22-track setlist comprising solo material, Beatles classics and Wings music (see it in full below).

Now, Macca will be returning to the Bowery today for a second small show – telling fans of a 5pm door-time before taking to the stage at 6pm with tickets only on sale now at Bowery Ballroom’s box office on a first come, first served basis of just one ticket per person.
