German forward Josh Samanski has agreed to a two-year entry level contract with the team beginning in the 2025-26 season, the Oilers announced on Wednesday.

German forward Josh Samanski agreed to a two-year entry level contract with the team beginning next season, the Oilers announced on Wednesday.
Samanski, 23, spent the past four years mostly playing with the Straubing Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).
He made 193 appearances with the Tigers in that span, posting 40 goals and 53 assists. Through 30 playoff games with the team, Samanski logged five goals and six helpers.
The left-shot forward suited up in 52 games for Straubing this season, racking up a team-high 14 goals to go with 26 assists.
