Ohio HS player channels Draymond Green, punches opponent in nuts
How did the refs miss this? A high school basketball player in Ohio channeled his inner Draymond Green by blatantly punching an opponent in the groin during a playoff game over the weekend. It came in a game between Hilliard Bradley and Reynoldsburg in Division I hoops on Saturday, and people are left wondering how the referee could have missed something so blatant. This is crazy. One Twitter user who claims to be related to the player who was hit in the nuts called the punch a “momentum swing,” adding that refs just called an intentional foul — not a technical or an ejection. Shortly after this Reynoldsburg, who carried a 20-1 record into the matchup, mounted their comeback, eventually scoring 22 points in the fourth quarter to win the game 57-51. Neither school, nor district officials have made a comment on the punch — but now as the video is going viral they might be pressured into making a statement.
