Noel Gallagher has launched The Chiltern, a new range of sunglasses, with proceeds going to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The Oasis guitarist announced the limited edition collection on Thursday (April 24), writing on his social media accounts: “Well it’s in the manual isn’t it…It actually says in the rock star book ‘Thou shalt wear shades at all times, preferably indoors’”.

The sunglasses are a collaboration between Gallagher and Finlay And Co and come in three colours: black, crystal and pebble. They are listed at $260 (£195), and 25 per cent of the sale price – which is 100 per cent of Gallagher’s royalties – will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Explore the range here.

Finlay And Co say the items come with a refined frame, a “softened rectangular” shape and a steel nose bridge with adjustable nose pads. They are “handmade from sustainable Mazzucchelli acetate” and feature ZEISS sun lenses with full UVA/UVB protection.

Noel is gearing up for a blockbuster summer, with the Oasis Live ‘25 comeback tour kicking off on July 4 in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. They currently have 41 dates booked in that will take them through until November, with support to come from Cast, Richard Ashcroft, Cage The Elephant and Ball Park Music.

This past weekend, Liam Gallagher shared that he spent a “biblical Easter Sunday” with Noel and his sons Donovan and Sonny, who he said came round to his for a ”cup of tea”.

Last month, sources close to the band revealed to NME that the band’s line-up on the tour will include Noel, Liam, bassist Andy Bell, guitarists Gem Archer and Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs and drummer Joey Waronker.

Original drummer Tony McCarroll is not involved in the comeback tour, and recently shared a message with the band and their fans, writing: “The circle has started again lads. A new generation ready to start a journey of listening. Actually, I’m a bit jealous of that blank canvas they’re about to start on.”

“Lads, the world is excited to see this, it’s all people are talking about. The time ‘feels’ right, I can’t wait to see how it all goes down,” he expressed. “Liam, Noel, Bone, Gem…. (I better stop there as I’m not sure who else) Good luck with everything, and don’t forget to stop and take it in! If the drummer fancies a stage partner for Supersonic at Heaton Park, give us a buzz ;)”

Last month, Noel broke his silence on the controversy surrounding tickets when they went on sale last August. “I thought it’d be a big deal, but I was a bit taken aback by just how much of a big deal it was,” he said.

The band also recently re-released their classic single ’Some Might Say’ to mark its 30th anniversary. It was their first UK Number One single in 1995 and came alongside the classic B-sides ‘Talk Tonight’, ‘Acquiesce’ and ‘Headshrinker’.
