"You know this is a child's life that you're messing with?" Breaking Glass Pictures has debuted the official trailer for an indie thriller from Canada (though set in the US) titled
Jackknife, coincidentally made by a filmmaker named Adam Jack. This already premiered last year and will be out to watch on VOD next week if anyone is curious to give it a look. A fun afternoon of fishing turns frightening when a young Black brother and sister are attacked in the woods by a drifter. While fighting him off, the brother accidentally kills their would-be molester with a jackknife. This "fatal act of self-defense sparks an intense moral reckoning" as the police hunt for him.
