SAS is introducing summer flights from Stockholm Arlanda to Keflavik, set to operate during the 2025 season. The new service will complement SAS’ existing year-round connections from Copenhagen and Oslo, further enhancing access to Iceland’s unique natural beauty and booming tourism sector.

The expansion meets the increasing demand for travel to Iceland, with SAS providing more options for travelers eager to explore the country’s distinctive landscapes and vibrant tourism scene this summer. Flights will operate from June 22nd, 2025, to August 11th, 2025.

The flights between Arlanda and Keflavik  Iceland’s primary international gateway  will operate overnight, making them ideal for long weekend trips. A key highlight of the Icelandic summer is the midnight sun, which provides 24-hour daylight, giving travelers the opportunity to maximize their stay. Endless daylight allows for activities like hiking to stunning waterfalls, exploring glaciers, volcanic areas, and lava fields, or experiencing Reykjavik’s culture and nightlife.

“We are pleased that our travelers will be able to take full advantage of the extended daylight hours, allowing them to experience everything Iceland has to offer – whether for business or leisure. Additionally, our flight schedule lets passengers sleep while on the move from Iceland, with the added benefit of saving on hotel costs,” says Henrik Winell, Vice President Network at SAS.

SAS’ schedule is designed to ensure smooth, seamless connectivity to and from Sweden, the Baltics, Finland, and other countries.
