Kim Tae-Ri, known for her breakout role in Park Chan-wook's 2016 film, The Handmaiden, brings depth to the ambitious astronaut. Meanwhile, Hong Kyung, recognized for his work in Revenant, lends his voice to the soulful musician. Produced by Climax Studio, the film is directed and co-written by Han Ji-Won, with Kang Hyun-Joo as co-writer.
