My Experience at ROBOTRIX 4.0 – A Tech-Packed Workshop!

My Experience at ROBOTRIX 4.0 – A Tech-Packed Workshop! Hey everyone! I just wrapped up an amazing experience at ROBOTRIX 4.0, organized by **IETE HIT SF, and I can’t wait to share all the highlights with you. Day 1 – Introduction & C++ Basics The workshop kicked off with an introduction to robotics, followed by a session on **C++ programming fundamentals. Since **C++ plays a crucial role in embedded systems and robotics, we learned about: Basic syntax Data types Loops Functions The mentors explained how C++ is used for controlling robots, making the session both insightful and essential for the upcoming hands-on activities. Day 2 – Getting Our Hands Dirty This was the most thrilling part – building and programming robots! We worked in teams, learned about **actuators, sensors, and coding logic to make our robots move. It was challenging but super rewarding to see our robots following commands. After that, we participated in a car competition organized by the IETE members. The challenge was to navigate a track filled with difficult and dangerous obstacles. The key rule was that points would be deducted every time our car touched the track’s boundary line. With determination and teamwork, we gave our best effort, carefully maneuvering through the course. After an intense competition, our team secured the second position, making the experience even more thrilling and rewarding! Day 3 – The Grand Finale After that, we participated in a car competition organized by the IETE members. Takeaways from the Workshop Hands-on experience in robotics Teamwork and problem-solving skills Exposure to real-world applications of automation A certificate to commemorate my participation! Special thanks to IETE HIT SF for organizing this event and to all the mentors who guided us. If you ever get a chance to attend ROBOTRIX 5.0 (hopefully happening next year), don’t miss it!
