In 2023, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey started an unlikely universe, full of characters we loved as kids but presented with a gory twist. Years later, the Twisted Childhood Universe has grown with new characters added to the roster. The last release from the franchise Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, is by far the goriest and prepares the audience for a crossover which will be a spectacle for the fans of the horror sub-genre. But before that, the next film in the franchise will be Bambi: The Reckoning. The fairytale slasher is directed by Dan Allen, who recently teased that the upcoming movie will have a deeper narrative impact beyond the blood and gore on the surface.
