Jumby Bay Island, an Oetker Collection resort, announce the appointment of Marinette Giaquinta as Head of Sales & Marketing at Jumby Bay Island. Marinette joins the team with an exceptional track record in the luxury hospitality sector and will be responsible for leading commercial strategy, strengthening brand positioning, and driving continued growth across global markets.
Marinette’s career spans several distinguished properties, beginning at the renowned St. Regis Hotel in New York, where she developed her expertise in sales and marketing in a high-performing, ultra-luxury environment. She later played a key role in the repositioning of the Jumeirah Essex House New York and, most notably, held the role of Director of Sales & Marketing at Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort. There, she led the property to number one market leadership within the brand and region for six consecutive years. Most recently, as Area Director of Sales & Marketing, Marinette successfully led commercial teams in redefining digital strategies, enhancing brand visibility, and maximizing asset value for stakeholders.
Marinette holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management and Marketing from Penn State University and is an alumna of the Global Leadership Graduate Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
