Maria Becerra, Karol G, & More: Vote for the Best New Latin Music This Week
Which release do you think is the best? Vote below!

This week, Billboard’s New Music Latin roundup and playlist — curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — features fresh new music, including new albums by Ela Taubert (Preguntas a las 11:11), Grupo Firme (Evolución), and Majo Aguilar (Mariachi Mío), to name a few.
In their first collaborative effort, Maria Becerra teamed up with Paulo Londra on “Ramen Para Dos.” The chill R&B and trap fusion was born spontaneously during an Instagram Live, where Becerra was seen composing music in real-time along with her fans. Londra’s smooth rap verses were the cherry on top. “I keep ordering ramen for two/playing old voice notes just to hear your voice/since the day you left/I don’t know why the hell you never came back,” they chant in the heartfelt track.
J Balvin, on the other hand, reeled in Dominican artist Omega for his summer-ready single “KLK”—named after the Dominican slang for “que lo que” and loosely translates to “what’s up.” The perfect electronic-merengue hybrid, backed by ferocious güira and conga beats, the record is a celebration of Latin culture.
Meanwhile, Karol G surprised fans with “Milagros,” fresh off the release of her documentary, Tomorrow Was Beautiful on Netflix. Produced by Edgar Barrera and Lexus, the song opens with bright quena (Andean flute) notes and sets the tone for the joyful track about the miracles of life. She sings: “When I wake up I realize how blessed I am/I go through the world doing my thing/opening doors and closing wounds/what more miracle than to be breathing?”
Other new releases this week include music from De La Ghetto, Ryan Castro, Carín León, Paloma Mami, and many more. Which release this week do you think is best? Give these new releases a spin and vote for your favorite new Latin music release below.
