Marcus Rashford has missed Aston Villa’s FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace due to injury.

The Manchester United forward has impressed since joining Villa on loan in the January transfer window with four goals and five assists in 17 appearances.

After giving Manchester City’s defence problems in Villa’s 2-1 defeat at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday, Rashford was expected to keep his place in attack for his side’s trip to Wembley.

However, Unai Emery has confirmed before kick-off that Rashford misses the game due to injury.

Emery makes two other changes from the 2-1 defeat at City with John McGinn and Marco Asensio coming in for Amadou Onana and Jacob Ramsey.
