In a video shared on X, the centre-back is embraced by several men, before being handed the keys for the luxury black SUV. Khusanov is unable to hide his joy as he smiles whilst being applauded by those around him, before getting into his new £135,000 car to test it out. The Uzbek international appears visibly stunned by the generous gift, covering his face with his hand in disbelief whilst grinning. He is later shown driving away in the flashy Mercedes, with members of his entourage excitedly filming the big moment. According to Uzbek journalist Jalol Akhmedov, Khusanov was gifted the £135,000 car by Kazakh football official Ulugbek Asonboev, in a show of recognition from the neighbouring country. And the Citizens star will certainly be hoping to repay the gesture with some strong performances over the next week.
