It’s Wednesday, and so it’s time once again for the weekly fuel price update, with the ministry of finance having announced the retail price of fuels for the coming week of March 6 to 12, 2025.
Some cheer for both RON 97 petrol and diesel users in the coming week, with the prices of both fuels each being adjusted downwards by five sen. As such, RON 97 will be priced at RM3.38 per litre, down from the RM3.43 per litre it was at last week, while Euro 5 B10/B20 diesel grades have their prices adjusted to RM3.13 per litre from RM3.18 per litre previously. As such, Euro 5 B7 diesel, which costs 20 sen per litre more, stays at RM3.33 per litre.
No change of course to RON 95 petrol, which stays at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre, as set by the Malaysian government in February 2021. The retail price of diesel fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan continues unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
These fuel prices will take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, March 12, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 10th edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 321st in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.
