Luke Littler made it to a century of 180s for the Premier League campaign so far, landing more than double the amount of maximums as his closest rival.

The world champion continued his spectacular form on Thursday night in Newcastle as he beat Stephen Bunting, Rob Cross and then Luke Humphries to land yet another nightly win.

In doing so he took his tally of 180s in the competition to 102, with the next on the list of maximums being Humphries on 50.

Michael van Gerwen is next in line on 43, followed by Nathan Aspinall on 42.

Of course Littler has been playing more legs than his opponents due to winning far more games, but he is still landing maximums at a rate which dwarves his rivals.

At the opposite end of the 180 table to the Nuke is Stephen Bunting who is still looking for his first win in the Premier League this season, but has hit 24 180s on that run of defeats.

Littler whitewashed Bunting 6-0 in his first outing in Newcastle on Thursday night, averaging 109.98 in the process.

The standard diminished from there, with a 6-3 victory over Rob Cross to follow in the semis and then an odd final as Littler and Humprhies both appeared jaded.

The Nuke averaged just 93.62 in a 6-1 win as Cool Hand missed a truckload of doubles and hit the outer-ring with just 10 per cent of his attempts.

Humphries posted on social media after the loss: ‘Happy to get to the final tonight in the amazing city of Newcastle! Crowd were insane!

‘Unfortunately me and Luke just ran out of steam in the final.. especially myself
