Martinez joined the cast in Season 26 as Detective Kate Silva, while Pisano first appeared in Season 23 as Detective Joe Velasco, a former undercover operative with a complicated past. While NBC has yet to comment on the nature of their exits, sources suggest the decision may be tied to the broader wave of cost-cutting measures happening across the network’s slate of scripted dramas.
