JPJ has announced counter operation hours for the fasting month of Ramadan. For most of us, it’ll be 8am to 4.30 pm at the road transport department’s state HQs and branches, from Monday to Friday. At UTCs, the hours are similar, but these mini outlets are open seven days a week, Monday to Sunday.
An exception is the final day of Ramadan, where UTC operations will be from 8am to 1pm, to allow for Hari Raya Aidilfitri preparations. In Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan, where the weekend is different, the hours are 8am to 4.30 pm for Sunday to Wednesday, and 8am to 3pm on Thursdays.
JPJ reminds the public that transactions can also be made on the MyJPJ app, MySikap JPJ portal, JPJ kiosks, JPJ mobile and the department’s partners.
