Jenny Hval shares “The artist is absent,” announces North American tour

Jenny Hval‘s new album Iris Silver Mist is out next month, and she’s shared another single from it. “The artist is absent” sits atop a pulsing dance beat, and there are two versions, the album version and the extended “89 seconds rewrite.” The latter has a video directed by Jenny Merger Myhre featuring Hval and Orfee Schuijt, which you can watch below.

Jenny also announced a fall North American tour, which wraps up with an NYC show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on September 17. Tickets to all shows go on sale Friday, April 4 at 10 AM local, with an artist presale starting Wednesday, April 2 at 10 AM local. See all dates below.
