Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary have premiered an ‘in production’ teaser trailer for the freshly titled “Godzilla x Kong: Supernova,” the third film in the team-up series and the sixth overall in the Monsterverse.
Following on from 2021’s “Godzilla x Kong” and 2024’s “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire,” the new film sees filmmaker Grant Sputore taking over the directing duties from Adam Wingard.
Meanwhile the cast is getting an update with returnee Dan Stevens as Trapper joined this time by Kaitlyn Dever, Jack O’Connell, Matthew Modine, Delroy Lindo, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Sam Neill.
Filming on the project kicked off last month on Australia’s Gold Coast. A short teaser video was also released showing an office for Monarch – the shadowy organisation tracking the Titans around the world.
The film will arrive after the second season of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” goes to air. That show already shot its second season in the back half of last yesr through to February. That title is expected to
