I Love ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ but These 10 Things Make No Sense

Now airing its sixth and final season, The Handmaid’s Tale has kept viewers glued to their screens, eyes wide open since it debuted back in 2017. The dystopian series based on the Margaret Atwood novel of the same name is about a religious totalitarian society that has taken over much of the U.S., forcing fertile women to become handmaids for the wealthy wives of commanders. That’s just the tip of the iceberg of the oppressive control in this terrifying society, which is what makes The Handmaid’s Tale such a disturbing watch.
