SOUTH KOREA. Hyundai Duty Free has collaborated with Hermès Beauty to open a pop-up store called Lucky Travel LAB on the ninth floor of the retailer’s Trade Center, Seoul branch.

The pop-up will be open until 18 May.

Hyundai Duty Free said its strategy is to use XR and AI technologies to provide shopping content through an attraction that sets it apart from competitors.

Lucky Travel LAB visitors can enjoy a fun, interactive experience thanks to the latest digital technologies

Hyundai Duty Free said it had entered the marketing collaboration with the renowned global beauty brand to attract non-group tour, free individual travellers (FITs).

Lucky Travel LAB is deploying cutting-edge digital technologies to give visitors an easily accessible and fun interactive experience.

The pop-up features a XR Lucky Box Draw, where visitors have to move around physically to ‘pick’ a virtual lucky box.

Other attractions include a motion capture display for AI content-related activities; and a Mobile AI Trip Curator that provides visitors with AI-sourced information on their travel destinations.

In celebration of the collaboration with Hermès Beauty, visitors who participate in any of the above-mentioned activities are eligible for a wide range of gifts.

These include a vial of Hermès H24 Herbes Vives eau de parfum (50ml) and a pouch inscribed with the Hermès logo.

Diverse gifts are also available through various events, including travel-related items and a discount coupon that can immediately be used at the Trade Center branch.

A Hyundai Duty Free spokesperson said, “The pop-up store with Hermès Beauty aims to give customers an enjoyable shopping experience and many great benefits. We will continue to work with global brands to diversify customer experiences.” ✈
