The Heart of Racing team has announced Casper Stevenson and Tom Gamble as its drivers for the balance of the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s GTD class, driving the No. 27 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3. Zacharie Robichon will join Stevenson and Gamble for the remaining IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup rounds.
Stevenson, who turns 22 in April, made his IMSA debut at the Rolex 24 At Daytona alongside Gamble, Robichon, and Mattia Drudi, opening the 2025 season with a third-place finish. Stevenson raced in the 2024 European Le Mans Series for Racing Spirit of Léman, and finished third in the LMGT3 Championship with two podiums.
He has previous experience in GT World Challenge Europe, the FIA World Endurance Championship, and Asian Le Mans Series.
“I’m very happy to be competing in the full season of IMSA this year with the Heart of Racing Team,” said Stevenson. “After the opportunity at Daytona, it will be amazing to be with the team for the year. I will be discovering all the new American circuits for the first time which will be exciting. Driving with Tom and Zach, I’m confident that we can have a successful season.”
His fellow Englishman Gamble will compete in all IMSA WeatherTech races which do not conflict with his full-season WEC campaign in the Heart of Racing Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH. This means he will miss the Motul Course de Monterey at Laguna Seca on May 11, and the Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on July 13.
Gamble’s replacement for these events will be announced at a later date.
“I can’t wait to join the Heart of Racing Team for my first season in GTD and drive alongside Casper
and Zach,” added Gamble. “We had a strong start to the season with a podium finish in Daytona so hopefully we can keep building on that. I’m also looking forward to experiencing some new circuits! I’d like to say a massive thank you to the team for this opportunity and I’m very excited for what should be an amazing season.”
Stevenson and Gamble recently completed two days of testing at Sebring International Raceway in preparation for the upcoming Sebring 12 Hours on March 15.
Like Gamble, Endurance Cup driver Robichon will also be competing in the WEC for Heart of Racing Team, driving in the LMGT3 category. He has also driven in this year’s 24 Hours of Dubai and Bathurst 12 Hours in the Heart of Racing blue livery as part of a very busy winter for the Canadian driver.
