One former Blade writer says he knows how to fix the MCU’s troubled vampire movie that has undergone so much turmoil it's been removed from the release schedule entirely. With no director currently attached and only Mahershala Ali and Mia Goth remaining in the cast, things are looking bleak for Blade at the moment. It’s been more than 20 years since Wesley Snipes wrapped up his Blade trilogy, which was penned by David S. Goyer, who also directed Blade: Trinity. Goyer recently caught up with ScreenRant at the premiere for his new Apple TV+ series, Murderbot, and when asked what Marvel Studios needs to do to crack the code of a successful Blade movie, he simply said, "Give me a call."
