Emile Smith Rowe injury update from Marco Silva ahead of Wolves vs Fulham
The England international limped out of the defeat to Crystal Palace.

Marco Silva has confirmed that Emile Smith Rowe is a doubt for Fulham’s trip to Wolves on Tuesday, saying: ‘It’s difficult to say if he’s going to be ready.’
The England international was taken off after just 58 minutes of Fulham’s defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday, replaced by Andreas Pereira.
Speaking immediately after the 2-0 loss to the Eagles, Silva explained: ‘It was a knock on his ankle. It was difficult for him to stay in the game.’
It is a quick turnaround in the Premier League with midweek fixtures starting on Tuesday night when the Cottagers travel to Molineux.
Silva hopes to have the 24-year-old available but will not know until a full assessment is made on him on Monday.
‘We did (assess him) yesterday,’ Silva told a press conference on Monday morning. ‘We’re going to have another session today.
‘We’re going to assess the players when they arrive and after we have to take important decisions for the game tomorrow. It’s difficult to say if he’s going to be ready.’
Tom Cairney is in the same situation as his teammate, dealing with a minor knock and will be assessed ahead on Monday.
Silva said of Cairney: ‘He’s the same. It’s something that can be quickly covered or can take a little bit more than one or two days, because the game is really close. Let’s see if they can be ready for Tuesday.’
Definitely sidelined for the clash with Wolves will be Harry Wilson, Reiss Nelson and Kenny Tete who are all dealing with long-term issues.
Fulham slipped to 10th in the Premier League table after defeat to the Eagles in the London derby at the weekend.
Silva was left disappointed with his players after the tame defeat, saying: ‘It definitely was a performance below the standards, if I can say in this way.
‘In these type of games, the other part of the game that is there, that ugly part, in terms of duels, in terms of individual challenges, we have to be there.
‘But they scored two goals in two moments where reaching certain standards did not happen.’
Tuesday’s opponents Wolves picked up a surprise 1-0 win at Bournemouth on Saturday to ease their relegation fears.
Vitor Pereira’s side are still precariously placed at 17th in the table but are five points clear of the drop zone after the win over the Cherries.
