Ed Sheeran Shows Off Surprising Workout Routine in New Video

Ed Sheeran has entered the Pilates Princess Era.

The "Shape of You" songwriter was recently caught on video shaping up his body on a reformer pilates machine. Impressed by his skillset, Tiktok users are crowning him as one of their own.

"See how he doesn’t tremble? A real pilates girly," comments a user. The TikTok video quickly gained traction, accumulating over 400,000 views. Fans expressed their surprise commenting "Yes, love this! He has a glow and it’s the Pilates glow," while another one commented ''Let’s go fit king! Making it look easier than it is.''

MK Reformed, the UK-based studio behind the video, says they introduced Sheeran to the powerful benefits of Dynamic Reformer Pilates as part of his workout routine while he’s on tour. “We’re so proud to be working with Ed on his health, fitness, and nutrition in 2025 and beyond,” they shared.

Reformer Pilates has long been a favorite among women and A-listers, but what started as a celebrity trend has picked up steam amongst many groups, with more men feeling empowered to step onto the reformer. The challenging full body workout offers numerous benefits, including improved core strength, flexibility, balance, and posture. It also aids in injury prevention and rehabilitation, making it a good choice for individuals seeking low-impact, effective workouts.

Aside from embracing Reformer Pilates, Ed Sheeran is currently sober and planning on remaining alcohol free to remain focused and energized as he continues to travel for his upcoming album release, Play, set to drop later this year.

In a recent episode of Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, Sheeran admitted he used to drink everyday, but has changed his relationship with alcohol. Instead of having a daily glass of wine, he now looks forward to a once a week date night with his wife while sharing a bottle of wine.

Ed Sheeran may be the latest to join the trend among a growing list of high-profile male fans, including Harry Styles, Jack Grealish, Andy Murray, Tiger Woods, LeBron James, and David Beckham—but he won’t be the last.
