Eastwood’s Shop Equipment Deals Are Killing Your Excuses for Letting That Project Car Sit
It's great to get deals on tools, whether you're a pro car builder or enthusiast wrenching in your free time. The post Eastwood’s Shop Equipment Deals Are Killing Your Excuses for Letting That Project Car Sit appeared first on The Drive.

Another example from my long list of assumptions is that every car enthusiast knows about Eastwood Company. It’s been around for over 50 years. Eastwood is still headquartered in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and sells to everyone from weekend DIYers to professional restoration shops. Hank and I can spend hours browsing the website (ahem, never on company time) for everything from lathes and welders to sanding discs and screwdriver sets. Eastwood always has killer shop equipment deals that will give you a great excuse to try our a new tool, or just stock up on consumables.
I say all the time that I’ve included things in wide range of prices in deals posts, but today I really mean it—from $6.97 to $2,749.97. And they all represent big savings. Let’s start at the low end with a tool that would also fit in an EDC post. The Eastwood 1/4 Inch Drive Stubby Ratchet for $6.97. This little ratchet will not only fit in your everyday carry bag, it will sneak into tight spots under the hood. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.
The Eastwood 4 inch Locking C Clamp with Swivel Pads for $9.98 is one of those tools you don’t realise how useful they are until you use them. Or, more realistically, when you worked in a shop that had piles of them, and then you try doing a job at home and don’t have any. These are the extra hands you always want to hold things in place while bolting, glueing, welding, etc.
I’m going to jump down the list a little bit. There’s a small “beginner” MIG and Flux welder for just 200 bucks. If you want to stick two pieces of metal together, this will do that just fine. There’s also a TIG machine down there, that’s a little more money—750 bucks. That’s a bigger investment, but is the choice for folks chasing those pretty welds. Below that is a tire mounting machine and a tire and wheel balancer. Honestly, you’ll need to mount a lot of tires at home for these to pay for themselves. But wouldn’t we all like having these in our garages? There’s also a CNC plasma cutter table that is small enough for home shops and on wheels. Who doesn’t want to cut up sheet metal at home?
