Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn purses revealed with fighters to earn bumper paydays for grudge fight

And renowned boxing journalist Gareth A Davies has reported that the pair will earn huge paydays. Eubank Jr has managed to negotiate the A-side of the deal, and the reports indicate that he will pocket £10million. His rival Benn will receive a £8 million payout, as he steps up to make his first appearance at 160lbs. Negotiations were tough between the pair who were set to meet in October 2022. But the fight was cancelled after Benn failed a drugs test, which added another layer to this hostile rivalry. Benn has since been cleared, and the pair negotiated deals via Alalshikh who acted as the middle man. And in a recent press conference, Eubank Jr explained how he simply couldn’t believe the purse he was able to negotiate. The truth of it is, Uncle Turki flew in and saved the day like the superhero he is. “This is the Saudi show, he called me and said, ‘What do you want to make this fight?’ “I’m sitting there thinking, ‘I’ve got to be a businessman now, and any good businessman in any negotiation, starts with an aggressively high number, then there are counter offers and negotiating and you get to the number. “I gave him a diabolical number, I gave him an inconceivable number, and he said, ‘Done, I’ll send you the contract on Monday.’ I’m thinking I could have got more, or a couple of watches out of him! “There is no split, there are no percentages, you lied to the public in front of everybody and now I’m setting this straight.” Tensions have already been extremely high in the build-up to their clash. Eubank Jr slapped Benn with an egg at their face-off which created new animosity between the two British boxers.
