“100 years ago on the 21st of April, out in the waters around Spivey Point, a small clipper ship drew toward land. Suddenly, out of the night, the fog rolled in…”
Artists Matthew Therrien and Dismay Design are commemorating the date that John Carpenter‘s The Fog takes place with a collaborative art piece.
Dismay crafted the background, then Therrien illustrated Captain Blake bursting through. 16×24 giclee prints on matte satin paper are hand-numbered out of 100 for $30.
Dismay also has a second The Fog piece depicting Antonio Bay. 24×18 matte prints, signed and numbered, cost $29.
Adrienne Barbeau, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Atkins, Janet Leigh, and Hal Holbrook star in the 1980 horror classic, in which ghosts of shipwrecked sailors return to a seaside village on the 100-year anniversary of their deaths.
