Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell exits Game 4 with left ankle injury
Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Donovan Mitchell is doubtful to return in Game 4 with a left ankle injury, the team announced.

Cavaliers shooting guard Donovan Mitchell exited game Game 4 with a left ankle injury. He was initially listed as doubtful, but remained off the court for the remainder of the game.
Their leading scorer from Game 3 came out at halftime and was seen talking to the training staff and monitoring his ankle during the shootaround. He returned to the locker room before the opening tip, and was not seen on the bench during the third quarter.
After the game, Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson told reporters that Mitchell would be undergoing an MRI on Monday and couldn’t speak to his availability for Game 5.
Mitchell had 12 points in 20 minutes during the first half, but the Cavaliers found themselves on the wrong end of a historical thumping, as the 80-39 score tied the largest deficit in NBA Playoff history.
The six-time all-star came into Sunday averaging 41.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists during the Western Conference semifinal matchup with the Pacers.
Cleveland is down 3-1 as they head home for Game 5.
