The Canucks recalled the defenceman from AHL Abbotsford on Sunday, paving the way for his first NHL games with the club.
Mancini was acquired from the New York Rangers in January as part of the return package for J.T. Miller alongside forward Filip Chytil and a first-round pick.
The 22-year-old, a fifth-round selection in 2022, played 15 games earlier this season with the Rangers, tallying one goal and four assists.
In a corresponding move, the Canucks placed goalie Thatcher Demko on injured reserve retroactive to Feb. 8.
Demko was recently ruled out on a week-to-week basis and is not with the team on its current five-game road trip.
Vancouver visits the Utah Hockey Club later Sunday before heading to Los Angeles to face the Kings on Wednesday.
