The Cannes Yachting Festival, the inaugural event of the sailing season and Europe’s largest in-water boat show, will be taking place from 9 to 14 September. Sea lovers, boat enthusiasts, visitors with a great knowledge about yachting or simply curious, will be able to discover the best motor and sailing boats and yachts available around the world in the idyllic and iconic setting of the Côte
d’Azur, along with many other aspects. In 2024, 55,000 visitors travelled from all over the world to visit the boat show.

In a sector where creativity, technological innovation and energy transition are moving fast, the Cannes Yachting Festival is an unmissable showcase for highlighting the expertise of boat builders from around the world, and the latest launches in terms of services, products and solutions offered by the most renowned equipment manufacturers.

From the Vieux Port to Port Canto, more than 600 exhibitors will be presenting 700 boats from 5- to 50-metres long – sailing boats and motorboats with rigid or semi-rigid hulls, monohull or multihulls, showing electric or hybrid propulsion – without forgetting a wide range of equipment, engines and services.

Once again this year, the major trends in the market will be showcased thanks to:

  • The Innovation Route which identifies and promotes the most promising innovations. Eco-design, alternative engines, innovative materials, connected services: the most committed projects to navigating into the future will be highlighted through dedicated communication and signage.
  • Sectors designed to optimise how visitors tour the show and highlight the special features of each boat category and the equipment that goes with it. This new visitor tour has been extended and optimised since it was introduced last year. The Vieux Port continues to accommodate motor boats from 12- to 45-metres long, while Port Canto is divided into three separate spaces: the Sailing Area with 120 new boats over 10 metres long, the ‘Power Boat Marina’ inaugurated last year and dedicated to motor boats up to 12 metres long, and the ‘YachtBrokerage & Toys’ sector. This organisation allows smoother reading of the offer, a better visitor experience and a clear positioning for each exhibitor. It is possible to walk all the way around Port Canto without any interruption in the circuit.

In a context in constant evolution, the Cannes Yachting Festival continues to confirm its support role for the yachting sector and strategic platform for launches, visibility and encounters.

“For this new edition, our mission remains the same: to offer the sector an exceptional backdrop against which any actor can present its new products, meet its customers and launch the season. Our offer’s durability, visitor quality and the strong commitment of our exhibitors make the foundations of our success. Faced with the current economic and geopolitical challenges, the Cannes Yachting Festival continues to support the sector and highlight its excellence. In addition, as is the case every year, we will double our efforts to give visitors the most exceptional experience possible, including a new layout for the main entrances to the Vieux Port and Port Canto and a reinforced sea shuttle service”, points out Sylvie Ernoult, Director of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
