Can an internal role be delayed?
I have recently been successful and offered a new role within my current business. I signed a contract stating my start date would be x. I was then told that my start date would be delayed another 4 weeks, with no change to the contract I signed. I am coming to the end of this extension and am unable to get a straight answer as to when my new start date would be. Would I have grounds to complain if this is delayed further given I have a signed contract with the original start date?
