"Chef. Spy. Lover. Legend. Here is your first taste of Carême." Apple TV has revealed an official trailer for a new
streaming series titled
Carême, about a famous chef in France named
Antonin Carême (aka Antoine Carême). Based on the book "Cooking for Kings: The Life of Antonin Carême, the First Celebrity Chef" by multi-award-winning historian & actor Ian Kelly,
Carême is co-created by Kelly and Davide Serino. The series was shot on location in and around Paris. Born into the tumult of the French Revolution, Antoine Carême would rise from poverty to become one of history's most acclaimed chefs, crossing paths with such figures as Napoleon, Tsar Alexander, and the Rothschilds. Carême can choose revenge, or he can have it all — women, wealth, fame — but at what cost...? Starring
Benjamin Voisin as Antonin Carême, along with
Jérémie Renier,
Lyna Khoudri,
Alice Da Luz,
Eric Geynes, and more. This looks much better than other French series made for Apple TV+, very sultry & seductive, too. Might be worth a watch.
Bon appétit. //
