And their opponents completed the turnaround in the second half with goals from Ibrahima Sissoko and Matus Bero. Harry Kane started as a substitute for Bayern and was brought on with 62 minutes played, but he couldn’t make an impact for his side. It’s very unpleasant for us. “We started well, but we must never get a red card. But even with 10 men we have to win this game or at least not lose. “That didn’t happen today. We are not looking for excuses or apologies, we lost.” He continued: “We will analyse it and must take responsibility for it. “It is important that we concentrate on the reaction. Even with 10 men, we must have the ambition to win the game or at least not to lose. We did not manage that. “Bochum deserves to feel that they have won, I know how much energy it takes to do that. For us, it is now about the next game.” Bayern remain firm favourites to win the Bundesliga title having lost out to Leverkusen last season. Union Berlin are their final league opponents before the international break, with St Pauli next in the schedule upon their return. Augsburg and long-term rivals Borussia Dortmund follow as they reach the season run-in, with RB Leipzig also an upcoming test. Bayern will win the German title for the 34th time in their history if they finish top at the end of the campaign. It would also be the first major honour of Kane’s career having missed out on silverware on various occasions prior to his move.
