Arise Racing GT has announced that Jaxon Evans and Elliott Schutte will team up for a second season of GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS competition.

Evans and Schutte will once again share the No. 26 Ferrari 296 GT3 for the six-round campaign that begins next month at Phillip Island, having finished third in last year’s standings with a single win and three other podium finishes.

The pair were also part of Arise’s Pro-Am class-winning effort in the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour, together with Brad Schumacher and factory Ferrari driver Alessio Rovera.

“It’s fantastic to be back with Arise Racing GT for my second season,” said Evans, who also races full-time in Australian Supercars. “Finishing third in the championship last year was a great achievement, and it’s given us a strong foundation to build on.

“The experience gained in 2024 — both in terms of understanding the car and working closely with the team — will be invaluable as we push for even better results this season.

“One of the biggest positives last year was seeing Elliott’s massive improvement from start to finish. His development was really impressive, and as a team, that progress has given us a lot of confidence heading into 2025.”

Schutte added: “I’m really excited to be heading into my second season in GT3, with Arise Racing GT and Jaxon. Jaxon and I built a strong foundation last year, and that continuity will help us push even further this season.

“Starting the year off winning Pro-Am at the Bathurst 12 hour was an incredible experience and the whole team left with a lot of confidence.

“I’m looking forward to carrying that momentum into the season ahead.”

Arise GT remains “in the process” of finalizing plans for a second Ferrari entry.

The team won last year’s GTWC Australia title with Chaz Mostert and Brad Schumacher, but Mostert has indicated he will not defend his title this year.
