Archangel Motorsports will make its return to SRO America for the first time since 2023, having confirmed a full-season Aston Martin Vantage GT4 EVO entry in the Pirelli GT4 America Pro-Am class for Thomas Merrill and Adrian Comstock.

The Mike Johnson-led team was last present in the series, fielding a previous-gen Aston Martin for Todd Coleman.

“We are super excited to return to SRO to compete in the Pirelli GT4 America championship with Adrian and Thomas in the new Aston Martin Vantage,” said Johnson.

“Adrian is new to the series and professional racing so we will be guiding him along the way and with Thomas in the car, we hope to be fighting for podiums in short order.”

Comstock will be making both his series and GT4 racing debut.

“[I’m] thrilled to be transitioning from the already exciting karting and club racing levels of motorsport to continue my journey into the professional ranks under the wings of Archangel, Aston Martin Racing, and the multi-series Champion driver Thomas Merrill,” he said.

“I definitely feel the pressure, but I also can’t wait to step-up and make some achievements with this great team.”

Merrill added: “This will be the first big step in Adrian’s journey to top level racing and I’m honored to be making this step with him. We’ve got a lot of tough competition this year, but I know Mike Johnson and the boys at Archangel will always give us what we need to win.”

The GT4 America season kicks off at Sonoma Raceway at the end of this month.
