'American Gladiators' Is Coming Back to Our Screens 17 Years After Failed NBC Reboot and Will Be Hosted by This WWE Star

Prime Video's revival of American Gladiators will be hosted by a man who's no stranger to sports entertainment. WWE wrestler The Miz will host the revived series, which is now in development. The series will debut on Prime Video, but has not yet announced a release date. It will feature both classic challenges from the original series and all-new events. The Miz (real name Michael Gregory Mizanin) appeared in several reality TV series before appearing on the WWE competition series Tough Enough, which launched his wrestling career in 2004. He has been a fixture in the federation ever since, playing a brash, fame-obsessed villain who can back up his boasts in the ring.
