LATVIA. AmberSky, a leading inflight retail networking event, has attracted strong industry engagement in Riga, Latvia last month.

The event brought together sales and service managers from 30 airlines and 32 supplier companies to bolster connections and explore new business opportunities.
One of the event’s key highlights was the Cabin Crew Training competition, with the Wizzair team securing the gold award and Claudia Dorrek (pictured above) from Condor being recognised as Sales Star Person of the Year.

The event also featured a trade show for airlines and suppliers, opening with a conference and concluding with five strategic industry workshops.
AmberSky Co-Organiser Zigmars Valujevs said, “The event went smoothly and was a significant success for both airlines and suppliers. We are receiving positive feedback through emails and phone calls and all participants are already planning their involvement in AmberSky ’26.”

AmberSky is scheduled to return in February next year. Registrations for the 2026 event are already open, with an early bird discount available until 1 August.
